Rates and Capacities - Library Square

The Alice MacKay Room

The 3,000 square foot multi-purpose room is ideal for meetings, training sessions, receptions, film screening, media presentations, small trade shows, dances, concerts, banquets for 200, lectures and author readings for up to 300. Its features include 13 foot ceilings, hardwood floors and fabric walls which can accommodate push pins and are channeled for hanging art work. A small Green Room leads off the north end and encompasses a sitting area, a washroom and a make-up space completed with double sinks and make-up lights. An excellent sound system is included with the rental. An additional fee gives clients access to the 7 foot Petrov Grand Piano, in this acoustically impressive room. Simultaneous translation equipment and hearing impaired equipment is also available and is quoted separately.
